About me

Welcome to my website! I am a bilingual registered psychotherapist living and working in Toronto. On top of offering clinical mental health services, I am also the host of a podcast on queerness and mental health, and a writer.

I aim to reduce stigma and create more awareness about mental health, sexual health and diversity. Both by working individually with people, and with my podcast, public talks and my writing.

Individual counselling

As a professional with training and experience in general psychotherapy, sexuality, relationships, personal wellness, LGBTQ+ communities and trauma (simple and complex), my practice includes treating adult individuals on topics like emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, coping skills, childhood abuse, self-esteem & body image, sexuality & sexual addiction, gender, grief, substance use & addictions, as well as family and relationships issues.

Podcast & Writing

Accessible and queer-related content around mental and sexual health is primordial if we want our communities to thrive. On my podcast, I invite friends and colleagues over to discuss a wide variety of topics like relationships, trauma, drug use, the queer experience, and much more. Mental Health Much? is available anywhere you listen to podcasts.

My first professional writing work is focused on the experience of loneliness in gay, bi and queer men. Samples of this text are available on this website.

Bio

My background is originally in sexual health counselling, as I graduated from l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in Sexology in 2011. I pursued my education with a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto’s (UofT) Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). I have been working in the mental and sexual health sector for over a decade, mostly in non-for-profit settings and in private psychotherapy practice.
